Food Safety Specialists

For many years IMTA have been proud to support their group of Food Safety Specialists (formerly known as Registered Surveyors).

To qualify as an IMTA Food Safety Specialist, each individual is required to make an application to the IMTA Board and be confirmed by that body as being known to IMTA for their stated expertise.

Clients that Food Safety Specialists enter into contracts with can include Traders, Wholesalers, Manufacturers, Producers, Insurers, P&I Clubs, Hauliers Liability Insurers and Cargo Insurers. The expertise they provide ranges considerably from inspections of product to assisting in implementing quality standards such as HACCP, BRC accreditation through to Legal Expert witness guidance.

Members, associate Members and others in the industry can engage the services of a Food Safety Specialist should they require.
